Ben Hansen | Fashion Photographer

With a unique eye for lighting and composition, Ben Hansen is able to use his images to communicate and tell impactful stories. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ben shoots primarily in California, but loves to travel for work. He specializes in editorial fashion photography; creating anything from unique lookbooks to compelling standalone work. With magazine publications and lookbooks under his belt, Ben has the ability to express any kind of fashion need.

With a degree in Social Justice and Cultural Studies: Art for Social Change, Ben has the ability to create work that goes in depth; deconstructing binaries using color theory, composition, lighting and other techniques.

Not only is Ben a unique photographer, but he is also an expert in retouching and editing. His experience includes serving as a photography editor for notable organizations including Headshots LA, Laird Apparel and The Falcon Newspaper, among others.

Outside of photography, Ben enjoys cooking, hip hop dance, traveling, running and drawing.
